introduces the “seamless” fiberglass cage system, manufactured with an active organic biocide permanently compounded to inhibit bacteria, fungi, and other microbials.

Microban ® is directly incorporated into the polymer’s molecular structure, thereby providing resistance to the growth of bacteria, molds, fungi, and their odors for the life of the cages.

Microban will not wash or wear off. It is odorless, tasteless, and colorless. 

The state-of-the-art technology works by neutralizing the ability of organisms to function, grow or reproduce, eliminating one of the major problems in conventional cages.

The Microban additive inhibits the growth of microorganisms by utilizing an electro-chemical mode of action to penetrate and disrupt their thin cell walls.

Developed by three biomedical engineers, Microban is the only permanent antimicrobial protection that offers the combination of safety, effectiveness and durability.

Microban protection has been proven effective in controlling the growth of bacteria through years of use in hospitals, laboratories, dental offices and food processing facilities. Microban has been subjected to the most rigorous test conditions.
   

Door, Latch, & Hinges Stainless steel (304 series) electro-polished processing to reduce poracity and inhibits bacteria. Reversible for left of right hand latching. Heavy gauge.	Cage Rack is constructed of polyproprolyene panel raised 3” for urine cleanup without opening cage door. Comfortable surface is smooth and warm allowing quick recovery form surgery.

Special & Standard Features 

-           Fiberglass is a hard polymer known to resist moisture, to withstand abuse, and to provide a warmer and quieter environment.

-           The solid fiberglass interior surfaces wash clean in less time than conventional stainless steel or laminated cages due to seamless construction.

-           Doors, latches and hinges are high quality 304 series stainless steel construction, electo-polished to reduce bacteria on all surfaces.

-           Self-locking design provides ease of operation and security.

-           Doors are designed for left or right hand latch, with locking capability.

-           Optional platform with or without industrial roller/casters.

-           Rack ledge molded into side walls to elevate client from urine, etc., provides warm and dry environment.

-           Optional ICU door available with ultrasonic nebulizer (Saturn) for oxygen therapy, recovery and intensive care.

-           Larger unit divider panel (included) to provide two smaller cages (30”X 24)

The Antimicrobial Cage systems provides a cleaner, warmer and a more comfortable environment.

If you cater to cats, the large unit (30”X 48) has a pass through port hole which can be opened and closed according to your needs.
